2016 Book Blitz: Summary

Well, I set out the year with a goal. I didn't really make that goal. So what happened?

The goal was to write seven books. I ended the year with four books written. Still pretty good, since that's four books written. The second half of the year was what fell apart, though. August, October, and December. August I ended up kind of wanting to take break, because it ended up taking until the end of July to finish writing Spiral Island 3. I had gotten a little bit done, but not much. October I was met with a whole dearth more of migraine issues, and I couldn't end up focusing on it well. 

By December I decided to try giving it a rest, to finish up what I'd already started to round out the year cleanly. Editing on the four books, and the two short stories I'd started this year (Eliza's Notes, and another one), and begin to plan out how I would go about next year. Unfortunately, the middle of the month was met with the death of one of my closest friends, and that's made things very hard for the last of the month.
